Yes! We confirm all appointments by email or text message. You will receive an automated message 48 hours before your appointment, please click on the link in the message to confirm your visit. If you need to make any changes or cancel your visit, you can call or text us at 508-407-8889 or email us at email@example.com
Please arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand, so we can check you in and have
plenty of time to get your hair cut, colored, curled, straightened, blow-dried,
shaven, teased, woven into an elaborate reverse-multi-strand-dutch-mermaid-
braided crown, or all of the above.
If you are a new guest please leave extra time to fill out a hair history and questionnaire.
Please let us know 24-48 hours in advance if you can’t keep your appointment, so we can
offer the time slot to another guest. We also need to know if you plan to downgrade or cut
services from it.
Cancellations can be left on voicemail or text at 508-407-8889 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please know that no-shows and last-minute cancellations make us sad. They leave gaps in
our schedules (and our hearts) that can’t be filled by our wait list, which result in lost
We totally get that unexpected things happen from time to time and that cancellation can be
unavoidable. Repeated cancellations and no-shows, however, may require us to bite the
bullet and have you pre-pay for future appointments.
Dude, if you’re sick, stay home and get better–for everyone’s sake. But please call or text us at 508-407-8889 as soon as possible so we can reschedule.
We sure do. Strolling by and happened to notice our rad sign and stylish
exterior? Come on in and we’ll set you up with the next available stylist.
We’ll work with you and our stylists’ schedules to do as much of your service as
possible. In some cases, though, you may need to see a different stylist or
reschedule your appointment for another day.
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for services, retail purchases
and gift certificates (but not tips–sorry). No gold bars or jars of pennies, please.
Aww, you’re so sweet to ask! Tipping is always at your discretion. The industry
standard is 15-20% of the service fee.
We so appreciate your generosity, but we’re sorry to say that we can’t put tips on
a credit or debit card. Your stylist will gladly accept it in the form of cash or a
check written out to them directly, however.
The hard-fought result of years spent searching, sampling and sniffing, our retail
products are amazing and we stand by them 100%.
If you’re not happy with one for whatever reason, though, you can an exchange it
within 60 days of the purchase date. Sorry, but we don’t offer refunds.
We’re a super tight, professional team and don’t believe in getting all territorial
about guests. We’re happy to have you work with any member of our staff, so
please don’t hesitate to ask.
A trial appointment for hair and/or makeup is not required, but we highly
recommend it so that everything comes out perfect on your Big Day. We suggest
scheduling it 4 to 6 weeks in advance (the trial run, not the wedding).
Kids are welcome to have their adorable little hairs styled at JRS. When it’s just
you getting your hair or makeup done, however, we ask that you make alternate
arrangements for the kiddos so we can focus 100% on you.
